Details

This 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible is refinished in red over red leather and is powered by a 462ci V8 linked with a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated black convertible top, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels with polished covers, a power-adjustable front bench, power windows, and air conditioning with automatic temperature control.

The car was finished from the factory in Russett Metallic and was refinished. Exterior details include a power-operated black convertible top, quad headlights, rear-hinged rear doors, a driver-side mirror, a retractable antenna, a Lincoln hood ornament, and chrome bumpers and trim.

The 15″ steel wheels feature polished covers and are mounted with 225/75 Coker Classic wide whitewall tires. Power steering was standard, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The 462ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 340 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. The engine has been overhauled, with additional work including rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the exhaust, spark plugs and plug wires, and the fuel sending unit and pickup. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission.
