Details
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is powered by a 327ci L76 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Daytona Blue over white and blue upholstery. Equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor, chrome bumperettes, 15″ turbine-style wheels, four-wheel drum brakes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and a heater.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Daytona Blue and has been repainted during the refurbishment. Details include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad taillights, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear fascia. The 15″ turbine wheels feature three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion white-stripe tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The 327ci L76 V8 was equipped from the factory with a four-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 365 horsepower, and it is fitted with a chrome air cleaner assembly and ignition cover. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
